KLPAC

This morning, I got up early, then drove to college. Reached there around 9am and waited for everyone.
About 9.10am, we got on the bus and headed to KLPAC ~
We got there around 10am or earlier I supposed. There's just so many things to see. So many things to learn.
Well, basically I'm speechless bout the whole event but just a fun and new and interesting and exciting and wonderful and marvelous and wonderful and...
The weather was extremely hot. I'm sure I've got darker. The crowd was huge ! The people were spontaneous ! What more can I say ? I had a great time. It's really something different.
Well now I'm not a KLPAC virgin anymore ~

They don't look big in the photos but they're seriously huge !! I guess around 1.5ft + ?

1st day. 3rd semester. Life's like that.

I finally got my guts after the supports of my classmates to ask.
"Stephen, I need to reassure my grade for the last semester."
"Why ? Your not satisfy with it ?"
"Well... Sort off... I've got a D. "
"So ?" "Well ok, come look for me at 2pm. Is it ok ?"

And yes, I've got a freaking D. Where did I fail at ?
The place where I copied. The EXAM. WTH ?
Is it possible to fail this part where we copied each other ?
Anyway I don't wana bother it. Waste of time.
Anyway, I'm still laughing about it cause we totally copied each other and I've got 5 over 20 for it and therefore, I got a D.
And the only one who got D for this subject over 41 student.
=)

Now I've got ABCD for my results. =D

Anyway, first day of college and I'm panic-ing about the assignments and projects already.
Damnit. I so feel like just leaving. Literally.
But I've made it so far and this is the last semester until I get into the main. Come on ~!!
We can do it man !! Degree will be under our feet !!

Argh. I need to get a new bag tomorrow cause my current bag's gona fall apart any time soon. And I gave nearly all my bags away to charity. Which are mostly new and fine. Which happens to be so ironic that I left myself the 2 bags for college which so happens to be rotten. I found out about the handle and the huge hole of the bags just today when I was about to get ready for school.

Damnit. WTH ???

Ok this is gona sound like I'm just thinking too much but....
Yesterday I went and take my college results. And well, to my surprise...
I got a freaking D for History of Art and Design !
But that's not what that is surprising. The fact is that my whole class got either C or B for it and I'm the only one who got D. Bloody and it's like a group thing for this subject !
WTH ???
I'm thinking maybe I did get a D... But ?????............
I'm thinking maybe I should ask Stephen.... But....
If I really deserved a D.... it'll be so embarrassing to suddenly ask a question like that.
And the thing is, how do I even ask him about this ? I don't even know does he grade it by following the group essay and the presentation ?

We've made it through 2nd sem. Good job we did. Indeed, a good job done.
In fact, the family's increasing. =D

Basically I've just gotten my assignments back from Meng with the results.
Hmmm... This sem wasn't as bad as I thought ! I at least, improved.
Quite happy that I actually did improve this time. And hopefully it also goes to my other subjects too. And my GPA also -.- if I must remind myself. And not forgetting IELTS too.
Hmmm... not bad for the start of my work path ^^

Sem Break !!

It's the official 2nd semester break !! WooHoo~~
It's time to sleep and lepak and sleep and sleep and....sleep ? .....
Er.... not much of a plan for the break. Well, I'm still loving the break.

We finally finished our HOA&D on Monday's presentation.
I'm quite satisfied honestly... But the gradings and result might not be what I suppose.
We did a reinvention and also advertising project for our final.

Advertising product using Creation of Adam by Michelangelo. Promoting Strepsils.

Reinvention for St. John the evangelist on Patmos by Titian. Showing environmental pollution.

Basically after that, I felt, as if a whole lot a burden has finally been lift off of me.
And that's when I started to slightly let my body relax.
It's totally the same thing that happened during last sem...when I was about to get on a plane.
Yeap...
I fell sick.
Shouldn't let my body relax so soon. I've got like 1 more week and I'm starting to go down.

Well, basically this are some works Of mine during the past few weeks. Since I've got nothing to post up... I'll just nave to show you my works which are the paintings I did in class. well I have to say... I'm not a good painter at all.
Today, (Thursday) Was another painting class. But today's special from the ordinary because we've got quiet a harsh lecture from the lecturer. Well I guess we did not do our best that's why... Basically after the lecture, we are given our very first HOME assignment I'm saying this is the very first, well technically second after the color wheel ...
We did not have any home assignment for this class because the still life is placed in class by the lecturers. So, I guess to improve our skills, we are given home assignments. This, is where the not so ordinary but yet ordinary thing/part to happen.
As usual, every lecturers would say so, that we are degree students... Arghh!!
We are required to do better, BE better. Well, for me, it's like most of my classmates actually had experiences with arts or even learned it before and also been exposed to it. well, nothing for Me.
I'm like a lost sheep... | start to really, really really wonder... why the heck did I choose to come in an art stream ? God...
All the thoughts really did hit me hard...This time I was not only sad and frustrated. But also angry . Angry with the 1 who pursued Me to damnit take the dang DEGREE Course even though I said that I seriously have no, none, Kosong exposure and experience towards arts. well, she says that every one is the damn same . Shit la...
Anyway, I was really mad that time . Plus, my work that I was working on, was totally ugly!! It made things worst... But after having my previous work back, my feelings and well, thoughts, changed. | was happy because this particular artwork Of mine, well, 1 totally had confident with it. Not to say I got a great grade. But, when I was painting it, I had a cheerful time. Maybe it's what I'm painting...
That's about it... what I'm trying to say is that at least, I'm improving .

2nd sem field trip [31/10-1/11/08]

FCD085-1 had an overnight filed trip to a architecture place called Juteras in Subang with the 2nd class.
It was a totally long day. We took off from coll around 9.45am or so and reached our destination about 10.20am ? I'm just guessing cause I didn't really looked at the time.
When we reached, we went to the show room to put our things down and went to the "Airplane" area to meet up. Showed us around and then Meng, Candice and LiWen told us about what our project is. Then they split us into 7 groups. After splitting the boys up, it was the girls turn. I got no 1 which means group 1. Lian was smart enough to sit away from me and so she got herself into the same group with me~! WooHoo ~~!
Anyway later on we went around to look for the materials and stuffs and think about our design and spot for it to be. Dadeedadada
And it was evening/night. We had our dinner, played 2 games.
1 was the untangling hand game which 10ppl or so in a group need to cross each others hand to hold. Not to hold the same ppl's or even the ppl beside. That goes for both hands but both hands must not hold the same person's hands. We got third out of the 4 groups.
Next was like a taboo game. Title was movies.
We all definitely had fun and after that we all went for a nice shower.
And the real fun begans. We played a short game of a card game and later was the "Dare or Dare" game. Well you guessed it. No choice but to just dare !
We played till 3 or so am and went to sleep.
Around 7am, we all got a sudden waking up session.
Meng and Candice were shouting and whistling and shouting us to go to the airplane. And out of shock and blurness, we all went there, ran 3 rounds, did some warm up and basketball.
After all that it was breakfast and time to work.
Group 1, which is my group, consists of Shurong, Lian, chichi, Preethi, Abdullah and me.
Our group name was Sho'Flow or something like that. Our theme for the sitting place, which is our project was flow. Well basically the whole time we've change the whole idea about 3-4 times and time was running out. We've only got till 4.30pm and the hammering and saw cutting was making our time fly real fast. By the time we've finished, I noticed we were the last to actually finish.
It can sustain weight !! Literally !! I'm proud of what we've done.
It's totally stable man ~~
Anyway, we did not win. Stezon's group which is group 3 i think, won. After that we all went and pack, waited for the bus and went home.
Well I really did had a really absolutely great fun even though with the cuts and burns.
But those are just tiny matters. What matters the most was the fun I had with them all ~~
Well that's all I've got to say. My arms and hands are sore literally. Hahaha XD
And what I disliked about the house line is that it's slow and DC's so often.

Well basically I was sorta addicted in creating silly easy stuffs on illustrator since my 1st illustrator assignment was given.
I took a few minutes in the computer lab way before the lecturer came in to just randomly draw.
Most of the image are actually from the application's symbol tool.


I should had used it for my assignment but I totally forgot about it.
Anyway, after learning more of illustrator, I felt that my mind was going to explode.
Too much info for my tiny brain I guess. Isshh...
But overall I'm still able to hang on.

Got back my drawing sketchbook on Wednesday, which was drawing exam day.
I was so tired that day, I went home without even looking at my sketchbook.
I went to sleep around 11pm+ and while I was dozing off, I suddenly woke up.
Took my sketchbook and flip it open.
Since when they checked it they sorta laughed at it, so I was thinking they'll give me a BIG RED cross[X] or so ?
Hmm....

What I drew that got laughed at I guess.

I got STARS for BOTH ![is that a good or bad thing ?]

And finally, a B- at least.
Not really proud or happy bout it.
I'm just glad that there's improvement =)
